Issue arising from Kaltura's update ib 11/7/21

Hi All

 Did any other customers using Kaltura Virtual Classroom encounter the following pop up alert when trying to enter the Kaltura room on 11/7 SGT 7pm to 1020pm?

The alert encountered by our instance was "Upgrade Browser Version. You are using an outdated version of your browser. Please update your browser to join or check out Newrow system requirements"

This was despite the browser being the updated version.

 

We have requested a RCA but Kaltura has reverted that they do not consider this issue an S1 as it was not posted in their status page.

 

We would like to check with the community if this issue was encountered by any other clients?

    Hi Stephanie - I don't recall seeing any emails or reports from other users about this. Is it still happening or did it only happen on July 11th?

    Hi Russ

    It only happened on July 11th which is a non working day for us in Singapore.

    We would like a RCA as this would have impacted us heavily on July 12th if it had not been spotted and flagged out to Kaltura support for resolution on July 11th.
